How to recover programs from a broken tivo?

I have a Tivo with a failed motherboard. I replaced it, so I can watch my shows that I had recorded before it broke. It powers on fine, but when I get to the now playing list, it says "hardware failure detected" and to restart the tivo. From what I understand, the Tivo will work fine if I erase the hard drive. But, that defeats the purpose of trying to save the programs. What should I do?

Do all dvd/vhs recorders force you to change the channel on the tv in order to watch dvd/vhs playback?

If they used the same channel you wouldn't be able to record on they VCR while using the DVD without causing interference.

not at all too much. If you were fourteen this would be a lot, but it basically depends on how you feel when you wear make up. I an fourteen and I wear tinted moisturiser/foundation (depends on how good my skin is), concealer, mascara, liquid eye liner. This isnt considered too much by my peers, but it really depends on how much you wear in relation to the amount they girls your age around you wear.
